Order And Collect Yes we are officially closed but fortunately Click/order and collect is still available should you wish to spend some of your Christmas money or simply make an enquiry for something. Please get in touch via my website David-wood.co.uk, or email David.wood@foremostgolf.com for a quick response. Please make sure you add a telephone number so I would be able to liaise with you for collection. What will you have to look forward to when you return to golf? The biggest addition will be that I`ll be stocking TaylorMade equipment for this season alongside your other favourites, PING, Mizuno and Callaway. We will have a full range of demo product to work with alongside the GC2 monitor. Big news coming from the Club Companies is the change of personnel. Jon Rahm has moved to Callaway and Tommy Fleetwood has jumped into his size 10s at TaylorMade. Both surprises, although Rahm was a Callaway player while in college in America. Perhaps there may be a few more in the coming weeks, so keep watching the golf news.
Improving Your Game At Home As playing is off the table for a while, there are numerous books" out there" worth investigating whether its technical, psychological or biographical that would be of interest to anyone who wants to improve or just inspired by some of the best. Of course, there are the Bob Rotella collection and even simpler, Harvey Pennick little red/green and blue handbooks. All very easy to understand and simple visual ways to try and improve. A master of recent short game skills, Stan Uttley, a past US PGA tour player, who couldn`t hit it far enough, even 30 years ago but understood the value of a brilliant short game and has taught numerous Tour players since leaving the PGA Tour. Golfers with great stories..Arnold Palmer, Seve, Lee Trevino, Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones, Sandy Lyle, Ian Poulter. All well worth a read to fan the flames of your golfing desires!
From The World Of Sport On a happier note, Wales have their latest World Champion in Gerwyn Price. The new World No 1 bashed up two-time winner Gary Anderson in the final 7-3. Over the whole event, there was some incredible play (Cmon who didn`t watch it?), including a 9 dart finish from James Wade, who didn't even smile!. Price missed the ninth dart to match him in the final and was hitting75% of his doubles. He might have given Phil Taylor a run for his money with that form! What else but stay safe, be patient and your turn for the vaccine won't be too far away. |
