Lockdown 2 and The Masters With another lockdown for COVID 19 just starting,I wanted to let everyone know we will be still offering a click and collect service. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, I will be at the shop from 10am - 1pm to hand out any early Christmas shopping you may feel inclined to get a start on via my website. Stuck for an idea? There are plenty of options. How about either a gift or a lesson voucher? These can be emailed directly to you without the need to leave home! Any recent outstanding orders that are due for delivery can be picked up during this time as well. Unfortunately, you will just not be able to enter the store due to the COVID rules, I'll pass it out. The Masters finally starts next week,I will post the start list and names of all those who have taken part in the Masters sweepstakes so each of you will know who to cheer on. Remember losers can be winners as each day the worst score is rewarded. Unfortunately, we just won't be able to have the winners green jacket ceremony until we all return for obvious reasons. I've been asked numerous times who might win and I think it's one of the most open Masters ever. Huge interest will be around both any course changes because of the driving threat of Bryson and the man himself now he is hitting drives ridiculous distance having won the last Major he is a hot favourite with the bookmakers..He will be a factor but it truly is a horses for courses place. Experience is essential. I hope Rory finally comes through though. My outsider? How does the name Phil Mickelson sit in that role? He's been winning, he's fitter than ever and has the short game imagination required. If he plays with a little caution for once, he could be great value at 66/1. Can Tiger defend maybe? It doesn't happen often but he has. Can his body hold out? Many of you have been asking plenty of questions regarding the WHS. please be patient it's a learning curve for us all and maybe we can put a couple of hours to good use to understand it a little more in the next few weeks. Please forward any questions you may have about the new handicap system and I will attempt to answer them as soon as possible. Let's hope the R rate of COVID comes back to a safe level as soon as possible.Just follow the rules and stay safe. |
