PING’s latest products unveiled It’s the G700 iron, designed on the award winning Crossover club brought into the range last year. It has a hollow head that allows for a thinner face made of maraging steel which will help with length and a higher flight. As PING have moved more weight away from the face, it allows the head to play with metal wood-like flexing. Slightly larger than its cousin, the G400, the feel and noise from the face will not leave you disappointed. The club has taken the place of the G Max iron but plays significantly different. PING have also snuck a new driver into their range. The G400 Max is slightly larger than its "brother" G400. It has been given the same look as in crown, colour and shaft options. What’s the difference then? The silver lines in the face give the impression it has more loft and increased the head size to offer a little bit more forgiveness to help keep the ball in play from the tee. If finding the fairway is a huge problem then this new offering from PING could be ideally suited to your game. I will have heads for both demo and fitting very soon so keep an eye out for the signs on these. If you would be interested in testing out any of these new clubs, click here and get in touch.
