Time to reflect... With the competition season nearly over perhaps now is a good time to reflect on the state of your golf game. What you did well as much as what was letting you down. Take some time and look at all areas of your game. Consider asking yourself why were you much better at certain aspects than others? Did you practice it more? Are you more confident from the tee than in the sand? Perhaps your putter let you down when you needed it most? We are creatures of habit and enjoy practicing what we do well. For the next couple of weeks, try taking one of the weakest parts of your golf game and spend twice as much time on it as you do a strong part of your game and see if it improves. Of course if you need some advice to make some changes perhaps I can be of help. Allow me to help you with those weak areas that blight your round or even point out your strengths! There is nothing worse when things are going well, yet you expect the wheels to come off before the end.
It may be something so simple or a little more difficult, but either way worth attempting to improve it isn't it? Here are five of the most common weaknesses I see on are regular basis: - Alignment
- Not knowing why the ball does what it does off the club face
- Having no routine
- Course management
- Distance control on the putting green
Get in touch and allow me to help you bring those weaknesses closer to your strengths.
